URGENT CRV UPDATE – The 2009 Spring RFP for the Community Revitalization Fund (CRV) Cancelled

Minnesota Housing has announced that the Spring 2009 CRV RFP will be cancelled due to the recent state budget cuts.  The change was made as a result of the $4 million “unallotment” that was announced as part of the $271 million cuts to balance the state budget for this fiscal year.  The CRV Program was chosen primarily because the dollars have not yet been awarded and are available for recapture.

The $4 million dollar unallotment breakdown is as follows:  $2.6 million uncommitted dollars from the CRV Program, $1.1 million from the remaining Disaster Contingency Fund, and the remaining from unspent balances on smaller Agency accounts.
