Enhanced Financial Capacity Homeownership Initiative (Homeownership Capacity)

Homeownership Capacity is a pilot program that provides financial support to eligible nonprofit and government organizations that provide intensive financial empowerment and homeownership training to emerging markets (i.e., households of color or Hispanic ethnicity) and low-income renters who have the goal of homeownership. Homeownership Education, Counseling and Training Fund (HECAT)

HECAT provides financial support to eligible nonprofit organizations and governmental entities to deliver a variety of homebuyer/homeowner education, counseling and training services to Minnesotans.

2018 HECAT Awards

The 2018-2019 Request for Proposal (RFP) application materials for the HECAT Funds closed on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. The HECAT Funds RFP is open annually and will become available again Spring of 2019.
