2024-2027 Strategic Plan Draft Available

Minnesota Housing released its draft 2024-2027 Strategic Plan for public comment.

This is an exciting time for housing with the 2023 Minnesota Legislature providing more than $1 billion for housing. We are committed more than ever to Go Big so Everyone Can Go Home. We are committed to not only strategically deploying these and future resources but also continuing to create a more inclusive, equitable and just housing system and focus on the people and places more impacted by housing instability.

We co-created this plan with community. We carried out a statewide survey with over 300 responses and held over 20 listening sessions with over 500 people from across the state. We also hired 12 consultants, who have the lived expertise of navigating housing challenges and barriers. The consultants provided input, interpreted the information we gathered, and co-created the strategies and actions.

Public Comment and Webinar

We are taking public comments on the draft plan through 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9. Email your comments by the deadline. 

We are hosting a webinar on Tuesday, August 1 from 11 a.m. to noon. During the webinar, we’ll go over key parts of plan and answer your questions. Register for the webinar.
