Draft 2026-2027 Affordable Housing Plan Available for Public Comment
 

Today, Minnesota Housing released a draft of its 2026-2027 Affordable Housing Plan (AHP) for public comment. The AHP is the Agency’s business plan for 2026 and 2027 and provides information about key policy, program and operational initiatives for the two years.

Under the plan, we expect to make available nearly $3.6 million in loans and grants and assist over 61,000 each year.

We will focus on:

• Sustaining our core work in uncertain times,
• Continuing to create a more effective housing system where everyone thrives, not just some,
• Continuing to incorporate the voice and expertise of community and people with lived experience into all phases of our work, and
• Addressing climate change.
